Putting smiles on faces ...

It has always been the desire of the President and founder of the Word of Life Bible Church, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor to reach out in so many ways to people, meeting their diverse needs in so many peculiar ways, one of which is the laudable Poverty Alleviation Scheme, which evidently has gone a long way to answer the cry of many unemployed, especially in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

During the opening Ceremony of the Eagle Flight Micro-Finance Bank, items(Motorcycles,sewing machines, grinding machines and more) where given as to various individuals and since then it has become an annual event.

This exercise has served as one of the avenues through which Word of Life Bible Church in conjuction with Eagle Flight Micro-Finance Bank (Bank owned solely by Word of Life Bible Church) has taken good advantage of, to empower her community.

The Poverty Alleviation Scheme is only one of many ways by which Pastor Ayo has practically affected communities and people around the Niger Delta region. For example Scholarship is given to nothing less than ten students in higher instutions yearly. Also Community Projects are carried out by various arms within the church to support so many individuals in setting up businesses and pursuing education in various fields.

December 2009 Eagleflight Microfinance Bank celebrating her anniversary in conjuction with Word of Life Bible Church, gave out three brand new cars, trycycles , grinding machines and lots of other items to people of the community during the last Poverty Alleviation exercise.
